The Lie About Cigarette Filters

Cigarette filters were first introduced in the 1950s when smoking-related cancers became undeniable. They were marketed as making ci******es "safer," but the real effect was marketing and false consumer reassurance.

Cigarette filters are not made of cotton. They are made of PLASTIC. They do not make smoking any safer. They only make the smoke feel smoother so people inhale deeper, pushing toxins and microplastics further into the lungs.
