I am honored to have been awarded a Mentor Certificate by the AMEL Institute for my contribution to the Summer 2025 Youth Leadership Training Program.

The program focused on key areas including human rights, gender mainstreaming, digital & offline safety, self-care, conflict transformation, democratic development, and communications.

This recognition reinforces my commitment to youth empowerment, social impact, and human rights advocacy.

Grateful to the AMEL Institute team and my fellow mentors for the opportunity to contribute to such meaningful work.

On Friday 19th January 2024 the Laiserhill Youth Association (L.Y.A) Leadership .Philip Juma, Simon Macharia, Patrick Mwangi and Keneth Mwendwa held their first meeting of the year with a fraction of different Youth within the Sub-Location at Laiserhill Sub-Location Chief's Office Exciting.

The meeting was attended by different Sub-Location leaders headed by Chief Judith, -Location Office Elder Mr Murimi, -Location Chairman Mr Ooko, -Location Development Chairman Mr Teka, Village Administrator Lewisky, Agnes and Nduati.

The agenda of the meeting was:
1. Introducing the fraction of Youth in LYA to the Sub-Location office headed by Madam Chief Judith, for them to be familiar with the Office.
2. ⁠Consolidating effort, knowledge and skills for economic development in Laiserhill Sub-Location.
3. ⁠Creating the Foundation for a massive membership recruitment in the coming months.
4. ⁠Discussion on the income generating projects.
5. Creating ⁠solidarity between LYA and the Sub-Location Leaders.

A big thank you to all the Laiserhill Sub-Location Leaders for listening and advising us on building a GREATER LYA and a better community.

Planting trees cement the passion towards climate conscious initiatives.
We were encouraged by the leadership of Madam chief Judith Omoke who initiated a tree planting event as per the directive of the government of Kenya at Laiser-Hill Academy where 1500 trees were planted.
In attendance were leaders led by Dr. Chirchir, Director of Treasury, Ongata Rongai MCA, Hon Titus Matheka, Village Admin, Lewinsky N, The Our Lady of Fatima Environment club, Sublocation and location Chairman Mr.Crispin Ooko and Mr Teka, Elders, Youth representative Mr. Patrick Mwangi and the Laiser-Hill Youth Association (L.Y.A)- Amb. Phillip Juma, Mr Mwendwa K. & Environmentalist, Mr. Macharia S. -who committed themselves to support growth and taking care of trees to maturity.
Initiatives as these not only bring the community together but also help improve peace, unity and cohesion in the community.

Bound by a shared passion for community empowerment in matters and , DAAF Group and Paalih embarked on a collaborative journey forging pathways for transformative and impactful initiatives aimed at restoring society’s glory and values through research and education initiatives.
This MOU sets the stage for a seamless integration of skills, knowledge and expertise propelling the sustainable agenda of healthy communities and sustainable systems.

I was humbled to join Dignitaries , KIIT - Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology faculties,Invited guests and fellow in the 2 day and conference held at KIIT in partnership with the Ministry of youth, sports and culture, Government Of India
The event covered on the position of youth and impact of current events to future work opportunities . There were issues raised in the panel discussions where there is need for , and when approaching current problems in society and business operations as well. With the world towards becoming a global village, this opens opportunities for youth both in public and private sectors.
This solutions can be applied all over the world and can surely empower the jobless and also disadvantaged youths as well. Our organisation shall surely apply these lessons for a better future.
