Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Representative located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Medical Representative will be responsible for medical sales, effective communication, providing exceptional customer service, and demonstrating knowledge in medicine and pharmacy.

Qualifications

Medical Sales, Medicine, and Pharmacy skills
Strong communication and customer service abilities
Understanding of healthcare industry practices
Interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or related field
1 to 2 years experience in pharmaceutical sales is an advantage

Medical Sales Representative
Industry: Pharmaceutical.
Location: Mombasa

Responsibility will be Planning and ex*****on of calls withHealthcare Professionals (HCPs) attending training events as per set plans and brand guidelines Delivering effective brand communications as per the brand guidelines Effective distribution of marketing materials amongst HCPs and within the pharmacy channel Attend medical congresses and actively engage with HCPs to transfer belief in the brand, influence perceptions and build rapport Recruiting and managing existing customers within the pharmacy channel. Market products to prospective and existing customers by conducting CMEs at their work places Make follow-up on trained intermediaries to ensure growth in product recommendation, listing and stocking Effective use of marketing materials to ensure increased customer loyalty in pharmacy channel Liaise with distributors to ensure availability of products in the pharmacy channel.

Requirements:
Degree in biological sciences or diploma in medical laboratory, pharmaceutical technology or nursing. Less than one years' experience in healthcare or pharmaceuticals industry. Computer literate. In depth knowledge of the market and the changing environment. Strong negotiations and problem-solving skills. Proactive and assertive with strong relational and networking skills.

Unless you have just started in the business, you have probably worked with a born salesperson.You know the men or women I am talking about.They never have a hair out of place, an ounce of fat on their bodies, and never ever perspire.No matter how how it is they just dont sweat.Do you have any idea how annoying that is and they are?

A lot of things come easily for them.They make a cold call and the Client not only picks up, but invites them over for Lunch.First meetings lead to presentations.Presentations lead to contracts.And contracts lead to commissions and bonuses and company paid trips to (insert dream vacation here)

Meanwhile some slave and sweat for half the results.We cant help but be jealous.Jealous ?Yet We want to be one of them.
