This is to inform you that HOPE MOBILITY INTERNATIONAL In partnership with CHALLENGERS and CHAPLAINCY MINISTRY, extend an invitation to those in need of walking frames, crutches and WHEELCHAIRS or would like to replace old ones to come for assessment at CITAM Valley Road on 23rd May at 8 00 a m (this exercise will continue up to 4 00 p.m)

On 3rd June from 8 00 a.m.to 4 00 p m* those already assessed should come for measurements/fittings

On 4th June , they will continue with fittings from 8 00 a m. to 1 00p.m to those already assessed
NOTE: Please note that beneficiaries should present themselves physically.

I am sharing a link here to help share with Youth with Disabilities who qualify to apply for the scholarship. Please ask them to apply and send me their names and telephone numbers after the application for tracking. The deadline is 5th Mach 2023. Also note that the youth must be ready to avail themselves Monday to Friday (in Nairobi) 8am to 6pm physically for six months. We are given 10 slots on first come first serve basis.

HUMAN LIFE CYCLE IN RELATION TO DISABILITY

1. PWDs are created by God and are fearfully and wonderfully made. They are not less humans.
2. Life of PWDs begins at conception and should ONLY end at Natural death.
3. An embryo or child with disability has equal rights just like other children.
4. Disability is found and should be anchored in a family; PWDs are part of the family and form the community.
5. A person with disability can and wants to love and be loved. S/he has feelings to express to a consenting adult of opposite s*x irrespective of the physical, sensory or intellectual status.
6. PWDs are competent to form and care for a family according to God’s ordinances.

As has been the tradition in recent years, the Kenya Christian Professionals Forum held the Annual march for life on this 25th day of March 2017.
