What a powerful and inspiring day!
At the Blindness Prevention & Vision Restoration Symposium, we learned more about the cornea donation process, cleared common myths, and heard emotional testimonies from recipients whose lives have been transformed. Their stories were a reminder that one donor can restore sight to two people — and with over 4,000 patients on our waiting list, awareness has never been more important.
Deep appreciation to our leaders who made this day impactful:
-Lion Dr Manoj Shah - International Second Vice President – & our Vice Chairperson
-Dr Manilal Dodhia – Guest of Honor
-PDG Lion Himat Dodhia – Convenor
-Dr. Rizwana Peerbhoy – General Manager
And thank you to our Lions leadership, medical experts, partners, schools, and community leaders who showed up in great numbers.

What if YOU held the power to give someone their sight back?

Most people don’t know that one cornea donor can restore vision for two people and the pledge takes less than a minute.
Corneal blindness is 100% treatable, yet thousands remain in darkness because of myths, fear, and low awareness.
Your pledge could change a child’s future. A parent’s livelihood. Someone’s entire life.

💛 Be the reason someone sees again.
