Breaking down of water into oxygen and hydrogen molecules due to an electric current passing through the water, called Electrolysis of Water. Water reacts at the anode to form oxygen and positively charged hydrogen ions (protons). The electrons flow through an external circuit and the hydrogen ions selectively move across the Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) to the cathode. PEM is the electrolysis of water in a cell equipped with a Solid Polymer Electrolyte (SPE) that is responsible for the conduction of protons, separation of product gases, and electrical insulation of the electrodes.
Ultra H2 uses this process in order to convert the water’s component into molecular hydrogen water which only takes about 2 minutes. Through this process, the water’s components will be separated into oxygen and hydrogen, being the most effective process to activate the mineral water into molecular hydrogen water.
