M.P. Shah Hospital M.P. Shah Hospital is a modern 217-bed facility which is home to highly skilled and experienced specialists and professional medical staff.

For generations, we have been ranked among the best private hospitals in Kenya because of our excellent standards. Shah Hospital is a Social Service League Hospital which has been in existence for the last 93 years, as a not-for-profit organization. The Hospital has one single social objective of providing high-quality, accessible healthcare services to the community at affordable costs. It is a multi-super-speciality, state-of-the-art, tertiary care hospital with a current capacity of 210 fully operational beds, 30 dedicated critical care beds, 10 renal dialysis units and 12 chemotherapy units. M.P. Shah Hospital wrapped up the 2025 Matron’s Challenge on 5th December with joy, unity and a moment of honour. This year’s theme, “Caring for the Carer,” celebrated our nursing fraternity for their dedication, resilience and exceptional service. We were honoured by the presence of our C.E.O Dr. Toseef Din -CEO M.P.Shah Hospital, Top 40 under 40 Africa Winner, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Vishal Patel, Chief Nursing Officer Jane Ngivu, and former CNO Sister Maren Chunga, whose inspiring words reminded us of the power of compassion in healthcare. Also present were the Principal of the M.P. Shah Hospital College of Health Sciences Eunice Bett, Chief HR Manager Kenneth Afwande, leaders from the nursing department, staff across departments, and our vibrant students. The day was filled with appreciation, wisdom, celebration and fun—topped off with awarding of winners and a shared cake to mark the spirit of togetherness that defines the M.P. Shah family.

Today marked the opening day of the Global Mental Health & Wellbeing Summit 2025, hosted by Lions International in collaboration with M.P. Shah Hospital. The event themed: Breaking Barriers, Building Resilience was a call on both entities on advocating the importance of mental wellbeing. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Manoj Shah, Second Vice President of Lions International and Chairman of the Board at M.P. Shah Hospital who underscored the importance of prioritising mental health in today’s society. Also in attendance were Dr. Manilal Dodhia, Vice Chairman of the Board at M.P. Shah Hospital; Mr. Shehzan Luhar, Lions International Global Action Team Area Leader CA 8, Mr. Simon Njoroge, District Governor 411A. Dr. Toseef Din -CEO M.P.Shah Hospital, Top 40 under 40 Africa Winner, Chief Executive Officer M.P.
