Ever heard Indian aire song I am not my hair; I totally embody that.
My hair and nails have always been free and well maintained but I hate a lot of manipulation on them.
I hate heat on my hair so blow drying is once once.
Most people especially the ones I work with donโ€™t understand having a fro.
I think we have been brainwashed to think that neat hair is bone straight held into a pony.
I love to allow my hair to express itself in its grandeur.
Long story short the nurse I was working with didnโ€™t allow me to see my patients in my natural state and literally put on a hair net on me.
I am not even mad but I look forward to the day we start embracing our true selves.
Black magically and divine.

Rarely do I get star struck but alas I was today.
I met this hero Eliud Kipchoge
Later on I released I had the opportunity to ask about his wellbeing or even nuggets of healthy living but weeeeh I was over the moon I ended up hanging up the call with my mom.
It was one of those moments I call rare.
Maybe the silver lining of a day that really needed it.
After the fact when scrutinizing the photos one of the gentlemen took I was like why didnโ€™t I even suck in that stomach or even pose like the star I know I am.
All I know is my day was made a tad bit better because I met him today.
Ok ok a girl is just happy be happy with me ๐Ÿคญ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ
Ps donโ€™t mind me if I keep posting these the guy who took the photos understood the assignment he took a gazillion of them ๐Ÿคญ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Gentle Reminders (Weaning Series)
โŒ No force-feeding; not that as parents we are getting 'soft' but because this is a new experience for both of you and you deserve to enjoy it.
If you are a Kenyan millennial you know force feeding was the only way of feeding.
โŒ No pepper, salt, sugar; most parents find this interesting, but you can start adding the salt or and sugar after baby turns one, so many of us fail to do this; sass mtoto atakunywa uji
vipi bila sukari? My own mother asked me that once, but the porridge had my breast milk so no need of added sugar.
โŒ No comparing babies; my first was an eater weeeeh lakini huyu? Never do that all babies are uniquely different.
โœ… Follow babyโ€™s pace; if baby is under one they should still be breast fed fully like when they were under six months; so the additional meals incase they refuse one meal don't force it much.
What new thing have you learnt since we started the weaning series?

14/12/2025

So we go back to weaning class?
