I give myself permission to walk my own path.

I stand in my full power and confidence that whatever is before me is perfect for me in this moment.

What is appropriate for me may not be appropriate for others and so, I give myself permission to be different.

Parents whose children did KCPE, allow me to advise you a bit. I have seen most of you asking about the schools to which your children have been selected. Everyone is asking if the school is performing.
My advice to you is this: Find out about the accessibility, infrastructure and discipline of the school. Leave performance aside. Your child was selected to that school because of the mark they got. A school does not perform, your child does.
If you took a cow to a class in Kabarak High School, the cow will not produce an A. It will only produce milk. Performance depends on a student's IQ and hard work. There are students from village schools who score As and students in "big" schools who score Ds. I do not believe in school mean! School mean does not get someone a good course, it is their personal mean. Who gets this school mean by the way?
The other day a parent started making noise on my class whatsapp group after receiving his son's results. He was asking parents to demand explanations for the poor performance. He kept saying, "our class has performed poorly". I did not explain. I scanned the results of the whole class and posted them on the group. He went mute on realizing it is his son who had failed and not the class.
So stop asking if the school performs and start asking, "does your child perform?"
We are waiting for them. Remind them here we do not mollycoddle, pamper and spoon feed them. They have to work.

We need urgent policy interventions to address the forgotten plight of the boychild.... otherwise the next generation of empowered ladies and unhappy men is a disaster in waiting.

Chief Justice Martha Koome has expressed reservation in the manner in which president Kenyatta canceled the nomination the six judges that were nominated by the JSC.

The JSC had nominated among them George Odunga and Joel Ngugi for the appointment as judges of the Court of Appeal.

President Kenyatta however appointed 34 and rejected the six, some of whom were in the 5-judge-bench that nullified the constitutional amendment Bill through the BBI.

Speaking in Nairobi, Koome urged the executive to to implement the constitution and to obey the rule of law.

The newly sworn-in CJ also called on the other arms of the government to allow the Judiciary do work within the Constitution and without any political influence.

Dear Men, work hard so that in your old age you have something for yourself , forget about the children and their mother! You are the only stranger in that family you call yours, that house is for your wife and kids !
My grandfather told me that a married man is like a tractor that builds a road, does it very nicely BUT when the road is completed , they bring a low loader and carry the tractor away claiming it will spoil the road!!
That tractor is never allowed to step on the road it built ! Same case to a married man, you deny yourself , get loans , wear used clothes to see your children through high school and college because we believe that the only gift you can give your children is quality education cos there are no more shambas!!
When the children hit teenage, now the Father is dispensable, most of these women poison the children against their father, language like "If it wasn't for me you wouldn't have studied, he was only interested in alcohol and women!! Now the tractor is about to be carried away!!!
Once the children start working , mzee has retired and when the children come visiting the poor mzee is given two hundred infront of the mother , while the mother pulls them to the kitchen and the Father doesn't know what mama has been given! Once the children drive off, the mzee is told to buy sugar with the two hundred unless he wants to drink sugarless tea!!
These are some of the reasons why men die early and leave widows behind suffering !! I have seen mothers fly abroad to visit their children while the mzee is left at home looking after their two cows, ever wondered why? That poison spread by mothers towards the mzee !!
Dear men work hard and save something for yourself because nowadays aging without property is almost like a death sentence !!!
Wake up struggle while you can before your old age.

Under Nancy Macharia, TSC KENYA has been the worst commission I have ever heard. Coming up with retrogressive policies that are against International Labor Laws, seeking cheap labour in the name of internship and not confirming them, breaking marriages in the name of delocalization and killing unions.

We need just little brain to understand what tsc said in their proposal. Their proposal has nothing new as far as education is concerned. Students used to do units that majors either arts or sciences, concurrent with educational units, which sometimes is tiresome. Meaning if their proposal passes, it will help students who will like to become teachers in future by reducing work load, at least educational units should come later. PGD used to be there for anyone who deed science/art pure from decades ago! New rules will only affect students who will be graduating in 2027. So your tsc no is safe. Even the current first year taking education, will get tsc without PGD nonsense!
