Today, we join the world in marking โ a day to reflect, raise awareness, and take action for better mental health for all.
At Do It With Boldness (DWB) Foundation, we believe that mental wellness is the foundation of growth, learning, and leadership. Over the years, weโve been at the forefront of promoting emotional well-being among students, teachers, and school communities through our diverse programs and partnerships.
Our Impact So Far:
- Strengthening Guidance & Counselling Departments across more than 500 schools to ensure learners receive structured psychosocial support.
- Teachersโ Wellness Programs that help educators manage stress, avoid burnout, and nurture healthy classroom environments.
- Studentsโ Wellness Sessions that equip young people with resilience, life skills, and emotional intelligence to face lifeโs challenges.
- Emotional First-Aid & Crisis Response โ offering psychosocial support after traumatic events and fostering healing in schools and communities.
- Wellness Without Limits Initiative, THE MOMENT, and other projects that continue to build a culture of openness, empathy, and mental strength.
The Global Picture:
- According to the World Health Organization (WHO), over 1 in every 7 adolescents worldwide experiences a mental health condition.
- In Africa, more than 116 million people are living with mental health conditions โ yet less than 10% receive adequate support.
- In Kenya, depression and anxiety remain among the leading causes of illness among youth aged 15โ24 years, with su***de ranking as the third leading cause of death in this age group.
These are not just numbers โ they are lives. They are our students, teachers, friends, and family.
At DWB Foundation, we envision a future where no young person suffers in silence. But this can only happen if we act together โ parents, teachers, mental health professionals, policymakers, and organizations.
Join us in the journey to achieve among young people.
Collaborate with us to:

Together, we can make mental health a daily priority, not just a once-a-year conversation.
