Yesterday, we facilitated a session for teachers at The Hampshire School on “Promoting an Emotionally and Mentally Supportive School Culture.”

In our discussions, we took the educators through the trends of emotional and mental health issues in the education sector, the recognition and labeling of emotional triggers among teachers, and practical mechanisms of coping. We also emphasized the importance of intentional emotional check-ins and explored the different dimensions of wellness.

Further, we delved into how teachers and the entire school leadership can recognize emotional distress among learners and provide the necessary support in a timely and effective manner.

It was a powerful and reflective engagement, reinforcing the critical role educators play not just in academic instruction, but in nurturing emotionally safe and supportive learning environments.

On 11th April 2026, we were at Friends School Keveye Girls' National School for their Form Four Academic Clinic, an event that brought together students, teachers, parents in a shared commitment to student success.

The day was vibrant and engaging, marked by a beehive of activities, including the launch of the Form 4 Target 2026, the release of the Mirror Joint Exam results, and a meaningful celebration of academic progress and distinction.

As an organization partnering with the school in academic mentorship and the promotion of a holistic learning experience, our director served as the guest speakers for the day.

We took time to appreciate and celebrate excellence across various levels—recognizing top-performing students, the most improved students, the best class, and the most improved class. We also acknowledged the dedication of outstanding class teachers and the school leadership for their unwavering commitment to excellence.

It was truly an inspiring day, affirming the power of intentional mentorship, collaboration, and a shared vision in shaping the future of our learners. At Do It With Boldness (DWB), we are committed to this journey!

Over the weekend, we joined Butula Boys' National School as they released The Elite Jet Joint Exams, conducted in collaboration with five other national schools.

As the Guest Speakers of the day, we carefully analysed the results and guided the candidates through Strategic and Emotional Preparedness as they continue to intensely prepare for their final exams. Our focus was to help learners not only understand their academic standing but also build the mental strength and clarity needed for the demanding weeks ahead.

We also appreciated the most improved students and the top-performing students, assuring them of our continued support throughout their journey. In addition, we celebrated the top class and the most improved class—a step aimed at encouraging positive competition while strengthening the spirit of supporting one another for collective academic progress and distinction.

We are deeply grateful to the Chief Principal, who was present throughout the entire session, for trusting in our programmes and believing in the impact of structured academic and emotional support.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to the Head of Guidance and Counselling, who first connected with us during our workshop in Kisumu, believed strongly in what we do, and linked us to the school. Your confidence in our work continues to open doors for meaningful transformation.

At DWB Foundation, we remain committed excellence and significant impact in all that we do, walking alongside schools and students as they pursue distinction with resilience, strategy, and purpose.

On 31st March 2026, we spent a full and impactful day at Ossen Girls' National (C1) Senior School, engaging over 1,500 students — candidates, pre-candidates, and Grade 10 learners.

It was a powerful engagement centered on how to spend the holiday wisely and, more importantly, how to remain strategic students beyond the school environment.

The conversations created space for deep reflection, intentional planning, and personal growth, as we challenged students to take ownership of their time, decisions, and future direction.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Chief Principal, Dr. Jenifer Otolo PhD, for the invitation and for her unwavering commitment to nurturing holistic, forward-thinking learners.

We are truly inspired by the energy, openness, and potential of these young minds.

At Do It With Boldness Foundation (DWB), we remain committed to walking this journey with them — shaping individuals who are not only academically prepared, but purpose-driven and future-ready.

It was an energizing and deeply impactful engagement centered on one powerful theme: Becoming a strategic student beyond the classroom.

From goal setting and self-awareness to discipline and purpose, the conversations were rich, honest, and intentionally future-focused. We challenged the students to think beyond academics and begin positioning themselves as intentional, self-driven individuals shaping their own paths.

We are truly inspired by their potential and proud to play a role in shaping thinkers, leaders, and bold young women ready to take on the world.

On 29th March, we had an incredible session training peer counsellors at Kisumu Boys Senior School.

It was truly inspiring to engage with such a passionate and committed group of young leaders — students who are ready and willing to make a meaningful difference among their peers. Through this training, we focused on equipping them with essential skills in peer support and referral.

We strongly believe that empowering students at the peer level is one of the most effective ways to build stronger, safer, and healthier school communities.

At Do It With Boldness Foundation (DWB), we are proud to be part of shaping voices that uplift others, stand for their peers, and create positive change from within.

Yesterday, we empowered young minds at St. Alloys Reru Girls — a day filled with impact, connection, and transformation.

Through our Peer Counsellors Training and a Whole-School Student Empowerment Session, we engaged students on building confidence, developing leadership, and creating strong peer support systems

We believe that when students are equipped to support one another, schools become safer, stronger, and more responsive spaces for growth.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Head of Guidance and Counselling, whose commitment is clearly shaping a vibrant and functional department. Having been part of our Guidance and Counselling Workshop at Kisumu Boys' National School, it is inspiring to see the practical impact already taking root in her school.

Our gratitude also goes to the Principal for the warm reception and unwavering support — leadership that creates an enabling environment for meaningful change.

At Do It With Boldness Foundation (DWB), we remain committed to raising empowered, self-aware, and supported students across our schools.

When systems are strengthened and students are empowered, transformation is inevitable.

At St. Claire Maragoli Girls on 20th March, we had the privilege of speaking during the Form 3 Academic Clinic — a powerful moment of engagement, reflection, and shared responsibility.

Our session focused on one key pillar: empowering parents to actively support their daughters’ academic journey and overall growth.

In today’s fast-evolving educational space, success is no longer driven by the student alone. It is a partnership — where parents play a critical role in:

- Creating supportive home environments
- Reinforcing discipline and consistency
- Encouraging emotional well-being
- Walking closely with their daughters through academic and life decisions

We challenged parents to move beyond supervision into intentional involvement — becoming present, informed, and supportive partners in their daughters’ journeys.

At Do It With Boldness Foundation (DWB), we believe that when parents, schools, and students align, transformation is inevitable.

To every parent who showed up, engaged, and committed to doing better, your role matters more than you know.

Let’s continue raising not just academically strong girls, but confident, grounded, and purpose-driven young women.

Last week, we had the privilege of spending impactful moments at Atela Mixed Secondary School through a series of three transformative sessions focused on holistic growth and wellbeing.

We began with an Emotional and Mental Wellness Session for Teachers, creating a safe space for reflection, self-awareness, and practical strategies to support both their own wellbeing and that of their learners. Empowered teachers create empowered classrooms.

We then conducted an intensive Peer Counsellors Training, equipping student leaders with essential skills in active listening, empathy, confidentiality, and responsible peer support. These young leaders are now better prepared to serve as pillars of support within their school community.

Finally, we engaged the entire student body in a dynamic Academic Focus session, focusing on discipline, goal-setting, resilience, and making intentional choices for a brighter future.

At Do It With Boldness Foundation, we remain committed to nurturing emotionally strong, academically focused, and socially responsible school communities.

We appreciate the administration, teachers, and students of Atela Mixed Secondary School for their warm reception and commitment to growth.

Strengthening School Partnerships for Holistic Student Support

On March 10, 2026, we held a strategic and forward-looking meeting with the Chief Principal of Butula Boys' National School, Mr. Josephat Otsieno, as we laid the groundwork for collaboration on various impactful programmes within the school.

This milestone meeting was planned by the school’s Guidance and Counselling Team, who previously attended one of our workshops, experienced the value of our engagement, and expressed a strong desire to bring the same transformative support to their institution. Their confidence in our work led to this important step toward partnership.

We are truly grateful for the trust and openness demonstrated by the leadership of the school. Together, we look forward to implementing programmes that will strengthen student wellbeing, leadership development, career guidance, and psychosocial support for both learners and staff.

Partnerships like this remind us that meaningful change happens when institutions intentionally come together with a shared vision for excellence and holistic growth.
