A month of grief, healing & finding tiny pockets of comfort
November has been an emotional roller coaster for me. Losing my beloved Watson tore open a part of my heart I didn’t expect, and the days have felt heavy, quiet, and raw. Some mornings I didn’t know how to move through the grief, and evenings felt painfully silent.

So I turned to books, the gentlest companions I could manage. Pages became soft places to land, and stories became the small warmth I needed to get through the days.

Goodbye November, Hello December. ♧♧♧
November… what a month.
It has been an emotional roller coaster in every sense of the word. I walked through some of the heaviest days of my life - grieving the loss of my beloved pet Watson, feeling shattered, and trying to make sense of a home and a heart that suddenly felt too quiet. I’m still in that grief mode, still moving through the waves day by day, still learning how to breathe through the ache.

And yet, November also asked me to rise.
To step out of my cave even when my heart felt fragile. To show up for a pop-up event I had been excited about long before life shifted beneath my feet. And I’m so glad I did. The event turned out beautifully - more than I expected, and I’m deeply grateful to the organizers for giving me the space, the push, and the opportunity to re-enter the world again.

November was emotional, overwhelming, painful, surprising, and strangely beautiful. It broke me open - but it also reminded me of my strength, my community, and the power of showing up even when it’s hard.
♧♧♧
Hello December.
May you bring softness.
May you bring healing.
May you bring light back into the spaces that felt heavy.
