President Student Senate IMU, Umer Riaz, in collaboration with S8+1, successfully organized a Model United Nations (MUN) session centered on the agenda: “Threats to International Peace and Security Arising from Cross-Border Terrorism in South Asia.”
The conference provided a dynamic platform for dialogue, diplomacy, and critical analysis of one of the most pressing challenges to regional stability. Delegates engaged in constructive debate, emphasizing the principles of international law, mutual respect for sovereignty, and the collective responsibility of states to combat terrorism in all its forms
In recognition of his distinguished dedication and leadership, Umer Riaz was conferred with the Leadership Excellence Award for his instrumental role in organizing and guiding this notable academic and diplomatic initiative.
