In collaboration with Paw Global Veterinary from Singapore, 29 participants from St John Phnom Penh and the public attended a half-day Basic Veterinarian First Aid course at Himawari Hotel Apartments on 31 January. The training was conducted by two experienced Cambodian veterinarians and focused on essential areas such as basic pet healthcare, emergency response, and CPR techniques. Participants developed practical skills and greater confidence in handling critical situations involving pets. We would like to once again extend our sincere thanks to the trainers and all participants for being part of this special training.

New Life School proudly recognizes our teacher-in-charge, adult members, and cadets for their active participation in the overseas friendship camp organized by the SINMAL Camp, held last December in Melaka, Malaysia. All participants were awarded certificates of appreciation in recognition of their commitment, teamwork, and international friendship. St John Phnom Penh hopes to build on this experience by organizing our own friendship camp in the future, creating meaningful opportunities for our local cadets and members to learn, connect, and grow together.

A fresh chapter begins at New Life School as we proudly kick off a brand-new term filled with purpose and growth. This term also marks the start of our 2nd batch of St John Cadets, who have officially begun their first aid training—an exciting step in their journey of service and leadership. At the same time, we celebrate our first batch of senior cadets as they step into new roles as mentors, guiding and inspiring the fresh recruits. We extend our heartfelt thanks to St John trainer Mr. Pich Chanthon for taking time off to conduct the first aid training at New Life School. Your dedication makes a difference.

This year, eight St John Phnom Penh youth members, accompanied by a teacher-in-charge from New Life School, proudly participated in SinMal Camp 2025. Marking its 40th edition, the SINMAL Combined Camp was held from 27–30 December 2025 in Malacca (Melaka), Malaysia. This annual Singapore–Malaysia youth camp brings together young people from both countries for a meaningful cross-border experience.

Throughout the camp, our youths engaged in a wide range of activities focused on teamwork, leadership, social interaction, and cultural exchange, while building lasting friendships across cultures. Through outdoor challenges, games, and collaborative learning, they gained valuable insights and personal growth.

Beyond the camp activities, our Phnom Penh members also had the opportunity to explore the historic city of Melaka, experiencing its rich Peranakan heritage and vibrant multicultural atmosphere. The experience was enriching, memorable, and truly inspiring for all who took part. One St John! 🇸🇬🤝🇰🇭🤝🇲🇾
