What a hectic two months it has been for our overseas sales team! It all started in Shanghai, where our China team together with Daniel were invited to receive the Golden Spoon Award, a trophy from Super Hotels recognizing us as an outstanding new product for their dining tables.
From showbiz and glamour, we quickly switched to a small and intimate neighbourhood market in the heart of Pudong, where we stand every week to teach and inspire new families and children about the benefits of using Cambodian/Kampot pepper as their new alternative.
After one week in Shanghai, it was time to join the MoC ក្រសួងពាណិជ្ជកម្ម Ministry of Commerce. Special thanks to GIZ and His Excellency Mr. Bora for inviting us to the largest food exhibition, Anuga, in Cologne, Germany. There, we joined the Cambodian Pavilion, which attracted many interesting businesses and customers. We also met some familiar faces who were happy to see us again. We can proudly say that during the exhibition we closed one new container of Sela Pepper products into Poland.
It was busy and very tiring to give your 200% at such an amazingly effective exhibition. So it was time for our team to take a short break, and by “break” we mean stepping away from the exhibition floor to focus on B2B customers in the Netherlands. We visited over 15 companies, including VHC Jongens, Ahold, Vanilla Venture, Spice Factory, and many more.
October came to an end, and it was time to return to China for the China International Import Expo. Our team received a booth and a place to shine at the Cambodian Pavilion, thanks again to the MoC. This exhibition was the perfect opportunity to build our Rednote account, and we worked hard to reach as many new end consumers as possible — who will now continue spreading the word about Sela Pepper for us.
After the Expo, Anna and Daniel continued to South Korea. Special thanks to the MoC for inviting us to join the ASEAN Expo, a great opportunity to greet our enthusiastic clients and friends. We hope to return soon, because the Koreans loved Sela Pepper. We delivered leaflets and products to the Cambodian Embassy and said our goodbyes (Photos will be posted next week).
It was a great and successful business trip, and we are excited to see that the upcoming tourism season in Cambodia is looking very promising!
Sela Pepper running across the globe!
