About HIMS

We, HIMS, believe in your future, and believe our contribution will make it brighter.

In 1999, we were asked by a teacher from a school for the blind in Korea to develop a notetaker for blind students. With this as our motivation, we, HIMS, started to research, develop and manufacture the first Braille Sense notetaker. Now, more than 15 years have passed since we made our promise to that teacher and jumped into the assistive technology field, and we have expanded our product line to include other notetakers, Daisy players, and handheld and desktop magnifiers. The blind students who used our original notetakers have grown up to be adults and are actively engaged in various fields.

We are happy to lend our support to blind and visually impaired people. HIMS, Human Information Management Service, as our name suggests, is as much a “human-company” as we are an assistive technology company. We value our customers as the heart of our business and we work every day to help them achieve their goals.
