Our Story

AHS has grown from the vision of a Canadian psychologist who recognized the need for high quality, effective psychological counseling services in Korea. Starting as a one-woman company, AHS has continually grown in size, but maintained an wavering dedication to professionalism, confidentiality, and measurable outcomes.

There is no question that Korean culture is vastly different from those of which many expats in Korea originate from, and it may be difficult to find someone who really understands your experience.

All of our therapists are credentialed professionals who have achieved advanced degrees specific to Psychotherapy (psychologists, marriage & family therapists, and licensed counselors) and hold current licensure in the United States, Canada, and Australia and maintain the professional standards of their governing body.

Our therapists understand the many benefits and challenges that come with a “global citizenship”. We care deeply about promoting the best possible experience for members of our community, and in providing a safety net for our clients as they navigate their life in Korea.
