특급호텔 객실 공간에 예슬작품을 전시한다?
럭셔리한 룸에 있는 테이블 침대 소파 위는 물론 욕실 공간에까지... 어제 27일 그 낯선 경험을 한 소감의 요약은 역시 상상력에 대한 감탄이다.
1월 26~28일 서울신라호텔에서 열린
The Grand International Art Fair (GIAF). 국내에서 21회 이상을 운영하며, 아트페어를 운영해 온 '더코르소 아트페어'가 'GIAF(지아프)'로 새로 재단장해 신라호텔에서 새롭게 열었다고 한다. 지난 해 6월 1회차 개막 후 60여개 갤러리 500여명의 현대미술작가, 2천여점의 작품을 선보였다. 이번 아트페어에는 이우환, 박서보, 이배 등 대한민국을 대표 작가의 작품과 아야코 로카쿠, 무라카미 다카시 등 해외 인기 작가들의 작품도 다양하게 전시했다.
