Dr Faour attended medical school at the Lebanese University in Beirut, Lebanon. He also pursued his residency in general surgery in Lebanon and the University Louis Pasteur, in Strasbourg France. He then completed a fellowship in laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery at Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg, and the European Institute of Tele Surgery (EITS) and the Research Institute against Digestive Cancer (IRCAD).
