The organization founded in year 2011 by a group of committed Pakistanis who took the initiative of stepping forth to bring awareness to the society on blood donation as well to present a true and soft image of Pakistanis in Kuwait. The organization originally formed under the name of "Pakistani Blood Donors in Kuwait" (aka PBDIK), which later has been rebranded as "Pakistani Blood Donors Association". It is the first organization of its kind among Pakistani community in Kuwait. Though, inspired by its excellence in humanity services, today many organizations are following its footprint and playing an active role in serving the humanity. Our activities include but not limited to promote awareness about blood donation, manage blood donation drives and arrange blood for those in need. PakDonors successfully organized its 31st blood donation camp at the Central Blood Bank, Jabriya, Kuwait. Despite the severe cold, the Pakistani community showed outstanding participation and came in large numbers to donate blood for humanity. The discipline, excellent arrangements, and sincere efforts of the volunteers impressed everyone who attended. Under the leadership of Camp Leader Mr. Adnan Javed, the camp was completed smoothly and efficiently.
On this occasion, Mr. Hamza Touqir, Community Welfare Attaché at the Embassy of Pakistan, paid a special visit and stated that PakDonors is presenting a positive image of Pakistan to the world. He warmly congratulated the team on the successful organization of the camp. More than 160 people voluntarily registered to donate blood. The services of the Female Wing In-Charge, Ms. Shaista Zahid, were also highly appreciated. In-Charge Coordinator Mr. Abdul Waheed Jaber Ali thanked all donors, guests, community leaders, and media representatives, and reaffirmed that PakDonors will continue its journey of serving humanity with full dedication.
