After giving birth to my daughter, my yoga practice was never the same. It wasn’t consistent. It wasn’t disciplined & definitely wasn’t perfect.

Every time I returned to the mat, my mind felt distracted and my body felt unfamiliar, softer, weaker. There were moments I felt like I was starting from zero.

But then I realized something beautiful ..

My yoga practice was growing exactly like my daughter.

First, we were crawling — slow, unsteady, exploring new ground.
Then came the falling — losing balance,keeping baby steps, learning patience, rebuilding strength.
Gradually, we began standing — finding stability, reconnecting to breath, rebuilding confidence.

And now… it feels like it’s time to run.
To flow with more speed.
To trust my body again.
To honor this new version of strength.

I have learnt with time after becoming a mom yoga isn’t about “getting your body back.”
It’s about accepting your body where it is.
It’s about healing, rebuilding core strength, reconnecting with your breath, and embracing the transformation motherhood brings.

This journey taught me that growth isn’t linear — in yoga or in life.
And just like our children, we evolve in stages.

If you’re a mom struggling to return to your yoga practice, be gentle with yourself. Your body created life & go through many changes.That deserves patience, not pressure.

We don’t rush the crawl.
We honor it.

And when it’s time to run — we will 🙏

Hip flexibility & mobility practice while thinking deep about life

Life moves like the weather,
rising and falling with unseen cycles.
Storms arrive as strong as our asanas,
mist asks us to soften our gaze,
rain teaches us to release.

Through every change, the breath remains.
Inhale—ground.
Exhale—surrender.
When awareness becomes our practice,
we stay balanced even in uncertainty.

And we learn this truth on the mat and beyond:
we are not here to resist the storm,
but to breathe through it—
steady, present, and whole
