Some ideas for dynamic speech and language assessment for partially speaking kiddies, based on their special interests with supported communication (for all of them, it was first experience with AAC) during child-led activity:
1) 3D ballerina - naming actions, body parts, concepts, tracing, cutting and glueing, phrases, etc.
Modelled words: more, different, get, put,in, on, open, open+here, help.
2) 3D ballerina final product. I mean, isn't she lovely 😍 thankzzzz for the 📸 💟
3) Play Doh hot dogs and pizza!!!! - shared attention, focus span, cooperative play, imaginative play, naming actions, shapes, etc. We used colouring mat with vehicles to stick PlayDoh shapes on, under, between 😉
Modelled words: this, that, me, you, different, help, get, open, more, no.
4) Mini-objects travelling (duck and her frendo zebra) on the PlayDoh roads with PlayDoh islands, they had a meet-up for an egg and cupcake with chocolate somewhere on that map - play, solutions, cooperation, sounds elicitation. And the most interesting ❗️❗️❗️ checking the prints left by all of the mini objects on the PlayDoh 😲🥹🥰
