🍼What is colostrum harvesting?
Colostrum harvesting is the process of collecting that first nutrient-rich breastmilk (colostrum), by hand expressing during late pregnancy, to store and use after birth if needed. The collection of colostrum can safely begin from 37 weeks gestation.

Why it’s helpful:
- Supports babies of mums with diabetes, PCOS or thyroid conditions
- Helps preterm or smaller babies
- Useful if breastfeeding is delayed (C- section, NICU, latch issues)
- Builds confidence with hand-expressing
- May support early milk supply

🚨Note: Please always check with your medical practitioner before starting, in case you are at risk of preterm labor.
