True or False: Trauma changes you.

The answer? TRUE. But maybe not in the way you think. 🧬

When we experience trauma, our Nervous System specifically the Amygdala (our smoke detector) becomes hyper-aware. It’s like your brain upgraded its security system because it’s trying to make sure you’re never caught off guard again.

How it changes the "Wiring":
• Hyper-Vigilance: Your "Internal Wi-Fi" stays on high alert, looking for threats. 📡
• The Memory File: Trauma can "clog" the way memories are stored, making the past feel like it’s happening right now. 📁
• Neuroplasticity: The Good News. While trauma changes the brain, the brain is also "plastic." This means it can be re-wired for safety, peace, and joy again. 🛠️❤️

The Bottom Line: Trauma changes your patterns, but it doesn't change your worth. You aren't broken; you are a high-tech system that learned how to survive.
