The company is founded as the first manufacturer of intravenous (IV) solutions in Lebanon with the technical assistance of Laboratoire Aguettant (French pharmaceutical company, leader at that time in the IV business in France). The company grew quickly and began increasing production capacity while introducing new products and expanding. Serum Products sarl is also involved in:
- the importation and distribution of IV drugs and medical devices/disposables through its daughter company Solupharm sarl.
- the manufacturing, importation and distribution of hemodialysis products through its 2nd daughter company Nephro-pac sal.
