Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur belongs to the Congregation of the Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul.I

The whole story started in 1848 in 2 rooms with 3 nurses to be the official first hospital in Lebanon. It developed to allocate for 60 beds in a building in 1885, and then 118 beds in 1896. The expansions continued and the current buildings had their doors open in 2002.

Christmas at Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur | Centre Universitaire was filled with harmony, joy, and togetherness. 🎄✨

We celebrated this special season with a beautiful Christmas recital performed by our hospital choir, proudly formed by dedicated members of our staff, and graciously led by Mrs. Zeina Aoun. The celebration continued as we gathered for a warm lunch together, followed by the cutting of the Christmas cake — a moment that truly reflected the spirit of unity and gratitude.

At Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur, Christmas is about sharing, appreciation, and celebrating the people who make our mission come alive every day. 🎶🤍

Saint Barbara Celebration at Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur | Centre Universitaire 🎉
Today, our hospital filled with joy, colors, and tradition as we celebrated Saint Barbara’s Day the way we love it — with warmth, community spirit, and lots of smiles!
Our staff dressed up in festive costumes, danced to the beloved Berbara song, and spread happiness across every department, also shared amhiye with all employees, patients, and visitors, honoring this cherished tradition and bringing a sweet moment to everyone’s day.
