Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur belongs to the Congregation of the Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul.I

The whole story started in 1848 in 2 rooms with 3 nurses to be the official first hospital in Lebanon. It developed to allocate for 60 beds in a building in 1885, and then 118 beds in 1896. The expansions continued and the current buildings had their doors open in 2002.

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our hospital held a special awareness day featuring an informative session with Dr. Abi Gerges, followed by an interactive talk on women’s health and nutrition.

Our employees proudly wore pink and received pink ribbons as a symbol of solidarity and hope 💗. The day was also marked with a Pink Menu — pink pasta, ribbon-shaped cookies, and a beautiful pink cake — prepared with care by our kitchen team.
