Today, the Ministry of Public Health officially launched a new application that allows patients and consumers to check the integrity of the medicines they are purchasing.

This app helps you verify that the medicine in your hands has entered the country through proper and regulated channels, offering an extra layer of reassurance at a time when many people are rightly concerned about the quality and safety of medicines.

I will be sharing the link to the application here, and I strongly encourage everyone to use it. It’s a simple and practical tool that empowers patients and helps protect public health.

A very important step toward greater transparency and trust in our healthcare system.

From November 14 to 17, our team, alongside 14 nurses from hospitals across Lebanon, proudly participated in the 15th Fresenius Medical Care & EDTNA/ERCA Middle East and Africa Renal Nurse Education Programme in Luxor, Egypt.

Under the theme “Navigating Challenges in Renal Nursing Care: Innovative Solutions & Pathways to Excellence,” our delegation engaged in hands-on workshops, clinical debates, and case study presentations that showcased expertise and collaboration.

A highlight of the event was winning first place in the Renal Challenge Quiz and earning multiple recognition awards!

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Carole Youakim, MD, and Christian Pasquali, PhD, from Switzerland, for their excellent presentations and valuable scientific contributions during today’s event, moderated by Carla Irani, MD.

Together, we explored an important and timely topic: The Link Between Pollution, Climate Change, and Recurrent Respiratory Tract Infections and The Protective Role of Immunomodulators.
