October is dedicated for awareness on breast cancer in women, importance of screening and recieveing the appropriate treatment when necessary.
It is Never late to help spreading awareness and answer people questions.

Most important for our beloved mothers, sisters, wives, and daughters to always do screening checkups and consult physicians for proper follow up.

📍Colon cancer is among the three top cancer affecting the general population. Being alert, and knowing how to reduce risk factors, enhance life style, and when to screen is important.

🔔 Alarming symptoms include the ones mentioned above, but also can manifest as abdominal pain, distention, fatigue through the day, and anemia (unexplained).

⚠️ In patients with family history and risk factors for developing colon ca, screening usually start before the 45 years of age. These situations should be discussed with the physician.

📍This post aims to highlight some of the serious complications of extensive and prolonged use of a group of medications called NSAIDs (Non Steroidal Antiinflammatory drugs).
We all used at some point meds like (profenid, advil etc.. ) either for pain or fever.

‼️ And at some point a lot experienced abdominal pain/discomfort. This side-effect and many alot is due to these drugs which can be pain relieving but if used in abusive way can be problematic and dangerous.

⚠️ Inaddition to what is highlighted in the post, NSAIDs may cause other health problems like worsening of an already existing (Gastroesophageal reflux disease), peptic ulcer perforation where the patient present to the ED with sever abdominal pain.

👉 NSAIDs are useful pain alleviating and fever reducing drugs, when used correctly and not in abusive and huge quantity, some age groups and patient status may need along to use (Proton Pum Inhibitors medications) some may not thus it depends, and consulting ur physician is the best way to avoid any unwanted sideeffects or complication.

يعتبر الفتق الإربي "Inguinal Hernia" من المشاكل الصحية الشائعة التي تصيب الرجال والنساء على حد سواء لكن أكثر عند الرجال. وعادة ما تكون ناتجة إما عن ضعف في عضلات جدار البطن نتيجة التقدم في العمر (علما أنه يمكن أن يحدث في أي عمر)، أو ضعف في الأنسجة منذ الولادة، وغالبا ما تظهر بعد القيام بعمل يتطلب جهد أو رفع وزن ثقيل.
إن الفتق الإربي غالبا ما يكون غير مؤلم والسبب لزيارة المريض للطبيب هو ملاحظته لوجود نتوء في منطقة الفتق أو يكون السبب نتوء مع ألم.
لا يتطلب الفتق الإربي تدخل جراحي طارئ في معظم الأوقات، إلا في حال حدوث إختناق لجزء من الأمعاء في الفتق، عندها يصبح التدخل طارئ.
لا يوجد علاج دوائي للفتق الإربي أو غيره من الفتوق في جدار البطن غير التدخل الجراحي.
لذللك يجب إستشارة الطبيب ومراجعته للحصول على التشخيص الدقيق والخطة العلاجية.

تعتبر الغدة الدرقية (Thyroid gland) من الأعضاء الهامة جدا والمؤثرة في جسم الإنسان ووظائفه بالرغم من صغر حجمها !
وتختلف عوارض الأمراض التي تصيب الغدة الدرقية بحسب ماهية المرض،
فحدوث كسل في عمل الغدة يؤدي إلى عوارض زيادة في الوزن غير مبررة، إمساك، كسل خلال اليوم،
أما الأمراض التي تؤدي إلى زيادة في وتيرة عمل الغدة فعوارضها تكون العكس تقريبا أي (نقص غير مبرر في الوزن، مزاج متوتر وعصبي، تسارع في دقات القلب).
إن العوارض الناتجة عن كسل، أو إزدياد في عمل الغدة الدرقية كثيرة ومتشعبة ومنها ما هو مذكور في الصور أعلاه، لذالك يجب على الشخص التنبه لأي تغييرات في جسمه ليست معتادة ومرضية وبالتالي إستشارة الطبيب من أجل إجراء ما يلزم لتشخيص المشكل وعلاجه بالطريقة الأمثل.

يعتبر إلتهاب الزائدة الدودية من أحد أكثر أسباب آلام منطقة البطن (خاصة الجزء الأيمن السفلي).
كما يظهر في المنشور أدناه، تتعدد عوارض إلتهاب الزائدة الدودية، ويكون التشخيص من خلال الفحص السريري الدقيق، فحوصات الدم والصور، أما العلاج فهو جراحي فقط.
