Dear Friends,

Thank you for being part of this 10th edition of the Byblos Tango Festival. You filled Byblos with your beautiful energy and your warm embraces.

A big thanks to:
- the Maestros Ermis Karaboulas & Katerina Sakka who gave amazing classes and shows,
- the DJs Sabah Chammas, Zeina Misu, Joe Backache, Alma Haddad, Joseph Dekbazian who filled the air with uplifting music,
- the wonderful musicians who truly honored Argentine tango with a magical concert : Bassam Challita, Mario Rahi, Khachatur Savzyan and Nadim Rouhana.

A huge thanks to the Municipality of Byblos that has been supporting this festival for 10 years and our sponsors Assurex, Adonai, Antoine Online, L’agenda culturel, A La Clara Dancewear, Symbiose and Glee Concet Shop.

Keep the Connection

Beirutango is a not-for-profit Lebanese association founded in 2009 by a group of committed dancers lead by dancer and choreographer Mazen Kiwan with a mission to promote Argentine Tango as a dance and a way of life.

Tango is a social dance based on improvisation. It is part of the world's 'Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity'. It is accessible to everyone, irrespective of their age, gender and physical ability and hence creates beautiful connections between individuals from different cultural backgrounds.

We have been actively organizing Tango events with the intention of introducing internationally acclaimed Tango performers, teachers, musicians, singers and dancers to our community. We also work on creating an awareness about the therapeutic effects of Tango.

We hope that you will join us in this journey.
