Samira Bouraad

Samira Bou Raad has obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics at the American University of Beirut and then went on to complete a Masters program in Nutrition and Dietetics at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

As a dietitian she aims to create awareness on how to eat and live in a healthy way without compromising on all your favorite foods. She also does not like the word ā€œdietā€; mostly because people say ā€œI’m on a dietā€ and it sounds as though it’s a horrible phase that they are going through and will pass soon. Eating healthy should not be a painful phase. Most people are very surprised when they see her eating and the reactions vary from ā€œyou dare to eat a burgerā€ to ā€œevil chocolateā€. The reality is, eating healthy in any case, whether you are trying to lose weight or whether you have diabetes or whether you have recurrent kidney stones is all about portion control, timing of meals and some quality tweaking. In order to attain those, you need knowledge and motivation. Samira BouRaad, will arm you with knowledge but you have to give her back a little motivation. Remember, a healthy body requires a start from the inside.
