How involved should we be with our clients?

A LOT

In thIS session, every detail is given the time it deserves.

1️⃣ Tactile stimulation on the injured side

Hands-on contact to wake up the quad and improve muscle awareness.

2️⃣ Hand contact cueing (very underrated)

Asking the patient to push into my hand. This creates intention, effort, and better motor output.

3️⃣ Visual feedback

The patient looks at his leg while contracting, what the brain sees, it learns to control.

4️⃣ Cross-learning strategy

Strong quad contraction on the non-injured leg, then immediately repeating it on the injured side to facilitate activation.

5️⃣ Motivation and verbal cueing

Continuous feedback, reassurance, and encouragement to reduce fear and improve confidence.

Sometimes, giving each part its proper time is the real treatment.

When Nour came to us, it wasn’t “just an injury.”
Achilles tendinitis for a sprinter is serious, it affects the push-off, the start, the confidence, and sometimes an entire career.

this wasn’t about resting and hoping for the best.
It was about managing pain, loading the tendon the right way, testing often, and making sure we weren’t creating new problems while fixing one.

Step by step, Nour rebuilt trust in his body.
Strength came back.
Confidence came back.
Fear slowly disappeared.

The goal was clear from day one:
return to a high level of competition, safely and prepared.

So let’s compete ❤️

🔥Early quad activation after ACLR is key for faster recovery and better knee control.

Here are a few simple exercises to wake up the quadriceps, reduce AMI, and rebuild strength safely.

03/12/2025

🦵After an ACL injury, many patients experience Arthrogenic Muscle Inhibition (AMI) ⬇️a reflex that reduces activation of the quadriceps and surrounding knee muscles. This makes it harder to contract, stabilize, and control the injured leg.

📣Cross-education plays a key role here.
When you train the uninjured leg, the nervous system sends signals that help the injured side mimic the same movement patterns, improve muscle activation, and reduce the effects of AMI.

It’s not just about “brain training” it’s about teaching the injured leg how to fire correctly again through shared neural pathways.

🔍 Could you spot the asymmetry by eye?
Probably not, but the Force Plates did.

That’s why objective data matters. It reveals what we can’t see and guides smarter rehab decisions.

And with 200+ measurable metrics, this tech opens a whole new level of insight

More videos to come… stay tuned ❤️

Struggling with heel pain that keeps coming back? 👣
A recent study on 1,100+ patients found that:

Cortisone = quick relief, short-lasting.
Shockwave Therapy = less pain, better function, and real tissue healing over time.

If you want more than temporary relief, focus on treatments that help your foot recover, not just numb the pain. 💡

Just completed my latest certification on TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) with my friend and someone I truly trust and value

I was honestly amazed by how much the TMJ can influence and impact our treatments. This course opened a whole new perspective for me, and I’m excited to apply these new techniques with my clients who need them most. 💪

Always grateful to keep learning, growing, and improving the way I help others.
