We are humbled and proud to share a milestone that fills our hearts with gratitude:
The Barbara Nassar Cancer Center has been internationally recognized as the first MASCC-Designated Pathway to Excellence Center in Supportive Care in Cancer, not only in Lebanon, but worldwide.
This honor from the The Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC) reflects years of perseverance, compassion, and belief in a mission that was born from real human need. It carries the stories of our patients, the dedication of our team, and the support of partners and friends who stood with us through every challenge.
At a time when our country is struggling, we chose to keep moving forward guided by dignity, empathy, and the conviction that every patient deserves the best care possible. Today, the world has recognized that effort.
To our team: thank you for your integrity, your strength, and your heart.
To our patients: you are the reason we exist, and the source of our courage.
To our community and supporters: this achievement is as much yours as it is ours.
We accept this recognition with gratitude, humility, and renewed purpose and we will continue to serve with the same commitment and humanity that brought us here.
Did you know that in addition to our Center of Excellence certification, MASCC also offers a Pathway to Excellence in Supportive Care in Cancer designation?
This recognition is awarded to eligible organizations, including outpatient-only centers or those without an on-site emergency department, that demonstrate the capacity to deliver comprehensive supportive care through direct management of toxicities or formal emergency referral networks.
We’re pleased to recognize our first Pathway to Excellence Center in Supportive Care in Cancer: Barbara Nassar Association for Cancer Patient Support, Barbara Nassar Cancer Center (Lebanon).
