Drug Line Distributors DLD is a recent start up in the pharmaceutical industry, aiming for impeccable service and aspiring The team was almost intact, only a few gaps needed filling.

“Old School with a New School flair”

The idea for DLD came at a time of turmoil in the area. After the notorious Pharmarol- that had been supplying the area for the past 25 years- closed down for good. Pharmacies then had to resort to external sources for supplies, most of which were quite far. Although the supply was meeting the demand, the shortage was evident as soon as there was any unrest in the region- something that happened often sadly. The idea to fill that gap came during a friendly meeting of colleagues in 2013. Two pharmacists of two different generations- one of community pharmacy background and the other of a corporate one- saw eye to eye and decided to invest in a work force that had been out of work for 18 months. The least experienced of the bunch had been in the field for over 10 years! This meant that new management had been brought to an already formidable team. Old school met new school… The new operational procedures were implemented using old "savoir faire" which bred a new yet familiar company with high standards of warehousing, customer care, and delivery. With plans to expand all over Lebanon and to expand the portfolio of exclusive distribution beyond the actual para-pharmaceutical one, DLD hopes to be a household name in the coming few years…
