The Department of Laboratory at Doctors Center is one of the finest laboratory departments in the nation and the region. The department prides itself on providing high quality of diagnostic services for clinical physicians and their patients, offering sophisticated methods for evaluating the full range of the many and varied tests and procedures carried out in the department. DC comprehensive laboratory services are dedicated to detection and monitoring of diseases and abnormalities. The department is staffed by highly skilled clinical scientists and technicians. Our Lab is TUV certified. High standard of results is ensured by various internal and external quality controls. Our Laboratory is equipped with the fully computerized instrumentation for quick and accurate inpatient and outpatient testing. The Laboratory is involved in clinical chemistry, medical microbiology, hematology, immunology, virology and body fluids. Our Laboratory also features High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (for drugs, amino addition to Pathology- specific testing. Other departments such as Molecular Genetics (using PCR and FISH technique), Cytogenetic (chromosomal analysis PGD), Neonatal Screening for inborn error of metabolism, Atomic Absorption, Polarigraphy for trace and heavy metals (all metals including Mercury and selenium), and microarray.
