Tone-Up Your Body With HIFEM!

The non-invasive HIFEM (high intensity focused electromagnetic) induces 20,000 supra-maximal muscle contractions in 30 minutes. What exactly does that mean? This technology is able to affect the muscle in a way that you couldn’t do voluntarily. When you do a crunch or a squat, you’re activating about 50 percent of that muscle group every three to five seconds. This is activating 100 percent of the muscle 20,000 times in a 30-minute period.

Following recently updated guidance (17th May 2020) from MoH Lebanon we are pleased to announce that we shall be able to offer ‘face to face’ consultations, where clinically appropriate and necessary, from Monday 18th May 2020 on prior appointment.

3 Principles for re-opening – Hygiene, Confidence and Communication
————————————————————————————
Hygiene – All reasonable infection prevention and control measures are in place and compliant with MoH and OPTL guidelines

Confidence – Patients and general public can have confidence of ongoing strong commitment to ensure all safety measures are in place and followed at all times

Communication – The clinic will be forthcoming with communication to patients and general public at all times – via website updates, newsletters, direct communication with all patients booking to attend and on-site information.
————————————————————————————
The health and safety of our patients and staff are always paramount. Since the first day of lockdown the clinic have been busy preparing for the re-opening of our premises to ensure patients can return to with confidence.
We have been preparing thorough risk assessments for every aspect of our clinic environment and the patient journey to ensure we provide the cleanest and safest environment possible. We have been in contact with industry experts to ensure that our infection prevention and control measures along with PPE (personal protective equipment) not only complies with current guidelines and protocols, but also to minimise any risks of transmission of COVID-19 during treatment sessions. We will continue to follow the guidelines set out by the government and OPTL and respond to any changes to ensure we comply with all the necessary social distancing and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols .

Complete Re-opening – 9 step plan:

1/ We shall be significantly increasing the level and frequency of cleaning for the clinic. The clinic will be undergoing regular deep cleans to ensure we maintain highest levels of hygiene within the clinic. Industry recommended virucidal disinfectant cleaning products will be used to minimise the risk of contamination
2/ All patients are advised not to attend our clinic if they are displaying possible signs of Covid-19 or if they should be self-isolating under current government guidelines. Patients will be screened before their appointment to ensure they do not have any Covid-19 symptoms
3/ All patients are advised not to enter if their temperature is greater than 37,8 °C
4/ The waiting room and appointment times will be organized to ensure social distancing guidelines can be maintained (2 meters are kept between patients)
5/ The clinician will be wearing all the necessary PPE including N95 masks, gloves and aprons at all times during your appointment. If there is any chance of ‘splash back’ from bodily fluids e.g. during exercise, injection therapy, acupuncture or manual therapy, your clinician will wear a visor or eye protection.
6/ We will be operating a significantly reduced service to minimize the number of patients in the clinic at one time
7/ We will be extending our opening hours to spread the flow of patients evenly throughout the day
8/ Between each patient we will allow 15 minutes to deep clean all surfaces using virucidal disinfectant and change the necessary PPE
9/ We can guarantee you these measures will not affect your standard of care

Arthritis and Weather: Why Your Joints Hurt As the Weather Changes

Science hasn't homed in on the reason that cold weather can exacerbate arthritis joint pain and stiffness, but there are a few possible explanations. A fall in barometric pressure, which often occurs as a cold front approaches, can cause joints to expand, which may result in pain.

Athletes' Most Efficient Treatment for Improved RoM

Graston Technique (GT) is a unique, evidence-based form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively and efficiently address soft tissue lesions and fascial restrictions resulting in improved patient outcomes. The use of GT instruments, when combined with appropriate therapeutic exercise, leads to the restoration of pain-free range of motion (RoM) and function.

Laurent Badaoui Physiotherapy Clinic

It is of my pleasure to announce the recent modernization and expansion of Laurent Badaoui Physiotherapy Clinic, bringing additional and innovative physiotherapy solutions and facilities at the disposal of our clients.

The expansion has been executed as a response to the double-digit growth of our customer base, year-on-year since 2015, as well as to an understanding of the global sector trends/practices, emerging technologies, advisory input from affiliate doctors and physicians, and more importantly the requirements and feedback relayed to us from our existing customer base.

As such, we would like to bring to your attention the highlights of this expansion:

1- We have relocated our facility to a larger clinic space within the same property (Now on fourth floor instead of second)
