Obesity presents complex surgical challenges that demand safer and more reliable approaches in bariatric care.

At the Gulf Obesity Surgery Society International Conference in Bahrain, we focused on supporting solutions that strengthen surgical outcomes, including the lunch symposium led by Dr. Mohammad El-Kalaawy on optimizing staple line security. The session addressed key factors influencing staple line integrity, risk reduction strategies, and practical considerations to enhance safety in bariatric procedures.

Through direct engagement with surgeons and clinical leaders at our booth, MSS contributed to focused discussions on improving surgical confidence, reducing complications, and supporting better outcomes for patients living with obesity.
