The Pharmacy Department joined the global effort to promote responsible antibiotic use through an interactive awareness event at Haykel Hospital.

We engaged patients, visitors, nurses, and physicians with our Antibiotic Awareness Wheel, encouraging everyone to spin, answer a question, and learn something new about antimicrobial stewardship.
The results were insightful:
- 62.5% answered correctly
- 37.5% answered incorrectly
A clear reminder that raising awareness remains essential.

Our goal was to strengthen understanding of antibiotic resistance, empower patients to make informed decisions, and support our healthcare teams in promoting safe and responsible antibiotic use.

Together, we can slow resistance, protect the effectiveness of antibiotics and ensure safer care for all.

شارك قسم الصيدلية اليوم في الجهود العالمية لرفع الوعي حول الاستخدام الصحيح للمضادات الحيوية من خلال نشاط تفاعلي داخل المستشفى.

قمنا بالتواصل مع المرضى والزوار والفريق الطبي باستخدام عجلة التوعية بالمضادات الحيوية، حيث يقوم المشاركون بتدوير العجلة، الإجابة عن سؤال، واكتساب معلومة تساعدهم على اتخاذ قرارات صحية أفضل.

النتائج كانت لافتة:
- 62.5% أجابوا إجابات صحيحة
- 37.5% كانت إجاباتهم خاطئة
وهذا يؤكد أهمية مواصلة التوعية حول الاستخدام السليم للمضادات الحيوية.
