HPDP center-MUT In spring 2011, the Faculty of Public Health at Manar University of Tripoli (MUT) created the “HPDP”. The center started to work at the level of the university.

In spring 2011, the Faculty of Public Health at Manar University of Tripoli (MUT) created the “HPDP” a research center dedicated for health promotion and disease prevention. The team performed a research regarding the needs of MUT students and staff. They organized some conferences and designed brochures related to public health issues: smoking, diabetes and cholesterol. It also underwent some activities to promote health and a healthy lifestyle. Recently, the HPDP center organized an event for the “World Diabetes Day” on November 13, 2014. HPDP is now aiming to cooperate with health agencies in the country (hospitals, doctors, people knowledgeable in the field of health, diseases and environment) in order to enhance its impact and improve its efficiency.

As we told you before, a big event will be soon!! Save the date, NEXT WEDNESDAY, April 20😉 from 10;30 am till 2:00 pm, HPDP will be hosting a healthy and funny outdoor entitled "Healthy Heart Day" covering all the healthy topics related to a healthy heart. You can come and check your diabetes, blood pressure and take alottt of useful advice! Besides, so many surprising and special SPORTS COMPETITIONS will be there don't miss it guys!! TOMBOLA and so many GIFTS and delicious FOODS and healthy ICE-CREAMS are waiting for you😊😊 Be numerous!

نظم مركز الارتقاء بالصحة والوقاية من الأمراض HPDP التابع لكلية الصحة في جامعة المنار بالتعاون مع "جمعية الشباب للتنمية – برنامج مكافحة المخدرات" محاضرة توعية عن آفة المخدرات ومخاطرها على صحة الانسان وذلك يوم الخميس في 17 آذار 2016. استهلت المحاضرة بكلمة ترحيب لمنسقة المركز الأستاذة رنيم نافع. ثم ألقى رئيس الجمعية ومنسق عام الهيئة الوطنية لمكافحة المخدرات المدرب محمد عثمان محاضرات عن الاخطار المترتبة من تعاطي المخدرات واهمية التوعية عليها لتداركها كما وشرح المضار الفيزيولوجية و السيكولوجية الناتجة عن تعاطي المخدرات و أسباب الإنزلاق إليها. كما تخلل المحاضرة أسئلة وحوار تفاعلي بين الحضور والمدرب محمد عثمان. وكان ذلك بحضور عدد من التلاميذ وأساتذة الجامعة والموظفين.

After a long vacation and an extended time for the selfies to get more and more likes, there are 2 selfies that got the highest number of likes. The first selfie is selfie number 20 for Firas Laalaa (1045 likes). The second is selfie number 2 for Alaa Al Tom, Ola Neouchy, Jamale Jundy and Fatima Hallab (800 likes).Congratulations for winners!! You guys can receive your prizes on Monday in HPDP center. :):)
