Kiddies Head Start Celebrates World Autism Awareness Day with Special Guests JJ and Amara

A Day of Inclusion, Awareness, and Community Connection
Kiddies Head Start is proud to announce its participation in World Autism Awareness Day with a heartfelt celebration dedicated to raising awareness, fostering inclusion, and championing the voices of children and families touched by autism.

As part of this special occasion, Kiddies Head Start welcomed two very special guests — young JJ, a bright and inspiring child living with autism, and his devoted mother, Amara.

Every child deserves to be seen, celebrated, and supported. JJ and Amara remind us that with love, community, and the right resources, our children can truly thrive.

Kiddies Head Start remains dedicated to ensuring that every child — regardless of ability — has the strongest possible start in life.

The week of September 28th - October 4th, 2025, was celebrated as Teachers’ Appreciation week. Sunday October 5th, 2025, was World Teachers’ Day; A Day to commemorate all teachers for their powerful impact on our young generations along with recognizing the challenges they face.

We celebrated our teachers and recognized other members of staff on Friday October 3rd. Some of our gifts included a glass, a card with a personalized note, and some treats.

Our parents also celebrated our teachers with a card filled with generous words of praise and thanks.

A big thank you to all our teachers at Kiddies Head Start, and to all the gifts and praises we received from Parents and Children alike.
