HSA SALUTES THE GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE OF CUBA ON
NATIONAL REVOLUTION DAY
The Humanistic Solidarity Association (Saint Lucia-Cuba) takes the usual pride in again congratulating the Cuban government and people on the 69th anniversary of the attack on the Moncada Barracks in 1953, which launched the final phase of the liberation struggle that ended on January 1, 1959.
Saint Lucia and the entire Caribbean Community (CARICOM) have benefitted greatly from the six decades of the Cuban Revolution, through health and medical cooperation, education and assistance over the past 40 years and cooperation continues through the Cuba-CARICOM Summit mechanism.
Our Association continues to support calls for Cuba's COVID vaccines to be made available by CARICOM governments and look forward to Saint Lucia receiving our share of the Cuban vaccines early enough.
Meanwhile, we again express our opposition to the continued aggressions of various forms being exacted against Cuba by unfriendly governments that continue to punish 11 million Cubans for political and ideological reasons.
Long live the Cuban Revolution
