All ARC Vessels Arrive On Saint Lucia!
December 16- Three days before the curtains come down on the iconic 30th anniversary edition of the ARC Atlantic Rally for Cruisers all 194 vessels taking part in 2015 crossing have arrived on .
Saint Lucia has served as the finishing leg of the 2,700 nautical mile trans-oceanic crossing for 26 unbroken years.
The over 1200 crew members accompanied by family and friends will now gather at the indoor training facility at , Gros-Islet on the evening of December 19th for the Closing Ceremony, where various prizes and trophies will be given out, largely as bragging rights to participants.
In early January of 2016 the Lucia Tourist Board will again team up with World Cruising Club and the Rodney Bay Marina in staging World ARC an 18-month circumnavigation voyage, which will end back on Saint Lucia in April of 2017.
Scores of mariners and their families will spend the holiday season on Saint Lucia, while others will visit neighboring countries and other surrounding destinations.
