Yelling at your kids occasionally is normal for parents; everyone has tough moments. To avoid harming your relationship, it's important to repair any damage caused by yelling. Children observe how their parents behave and express emotions. If you want them to develop emotional maturity and good emotional regulation, set an example through your actions.

🌿Waking the Tiger — by Peter Levine🌿

Trauma doesn’t only live in our memories. It lives in the body — in the places we feel tight, anxious, or numb.

Peter Levine reminds us that trauma isn’t the event itself.
It’s what happens inside when our body can’t finish its natural response to danger. Animals shake, tremble, and then move on. We, humans, often don’t. That’s how energy stays trapped — showing up later as stress or disconnection.

Healing begins when we slow down, notice what our body feels, and gently let it release what it’s been holding.

✨The body knows how to heal — we need to listen.✨

Many of us lose touch with our true selves due to the sacrifices we make for the sake of attachment to our primary caregiver. Growing up, when we can't express ourselves freely, we often forget who we truly are. While all humans, especially infants, need attachment to survive, if a child must choose between attachment and authenticity, they will select the attachment. Losing our authenticity can lead to numerous issues in adulthood. To heal, we need to reconnect with our authentic selves and work through these challenges.

Most of us get upset not because of the situation itself, but because of our perceptions. Often, people seek help not from major trauma but from feeling unheard, misunderstood, and unvalidated.

Human emotions are complex, and if left untreated, they can harm our self-esteem, happiness, and relationships.

If you're looking to explore and address unresolved emotions, feel free to reach out. I am Charnon R, a trauma therapist ❤️‍🩹.

Shame can be so overwhelming, trapping us in a cycle of self-destructive behavior. It often originates from childhood neglect by immature parents. To heal and move forward, we need to confront and work through our shame.

If you're looking for support to explore and heal from past trauma, feel free to reach out. I am Charnon R, a trauma therapist ❤️‍🩹

When a child repeatedly ignores being asked for help, that child can develop anxiety as a coping strategy due to feeling unsafe, and this anxiety can lead to many issues in adulthood.

One of the main barriers to healing is shame. Shame causes us to avoid confronting our core problems, making us feel that there's something fundamentally wrong with who we are. Although this may not be entirely true, shame distorts our perception and makes us believe that we are inherently flawed.

To learn more about your core beliefs and shame, please don't hesitate to reach out. I am Charnon R., a trauma therapist. I help people process different emotions and heal from trauma. ❤️‍🩹

Interacting with emotionally immature people can be exhausting and leave you feeling worse. These individuals are often highly sensitive to criticism and anything that makes them feel wrong. They will try to reverse the fault onto you and project their insecurity, making you feel like you are to blame.

If you want to learn how to better handle situations with emotionally immature people, I can help. I am Charnon R., a trauma therapist. Let's work together ❤️‍🩹
