Micro joys are easy to miss, but they’re what make hard days feel a little lighter 🤍This is how you can cultivate and instill Micro joys:

1. Name the moment ✨ Micro joys pass quickly when we don’t acknowledge them. Gently say it in your mind: “That felt nice.” “This is a good moment.”
It might feel small, but this is how your brain learns to hold onto it.

2. Shift your attention, not your whole life 🌿 Instead of asking, “What went wrong today?” try asking, “What felt even slightly okay?” Even if the answer is “my coffee was good"... that counts.

3. Let joy and worry coexist 🤍 They don’t cancel each other out, they sit side by side. You can feel overwhelmed… and still smile at something small.

4. Make it a gentle habit🧘🏻‍♀️ You don’t have to do it perfectly every day. It’s just something to come back to — again and again.

We all spiral sometimes—into comparison, self-doubt, guilt, or the feeling that we’re falling behind. It happens so quickly, and before we know it, we’re stuck in our heads.

But maybe the shift isn’t about forcing positivity or fixing everything. Maybe it’s just about pausing. Noticing. Softening the way we speak to ourselves.
And in that small pause, there’s space for something else…a micro joy.
Something simple, real, and grounding enough to bring us back, even for a moment.

There was no rule book when we were born, so it’s okay to stumble.

This is our first time living, after all.

Most of the time we don't pause, we spiral...

From one thought to the next, one worry to another, unti evervthing feels utterly overwhelming. But in the middle of all that, there's always a small opening. A pause. A breath.

A moment of something good, That's a micro ioy.

Not big, not perfect..but real enough to bring you back to yourself.

A small pause. A quiet moment. Something real you can feel right now. Not fixing everything- just gently stepping out of the spiral and back into the present.

Most of us aren’t missing out on joy… we’re just moving too fast to notice it.

Life can feel overwhelming, busy, and full of constant noise, so our minds stay focused on what’s next, what’s wrong, or what needs fixing

Micro joys are small, everyday moments that gently break this cycle. They don’t take away the hard things, but they remind us that something good can exist alongside them.
Noticing them isn’t about changing your life or adding something new, it’s more about slowing down enough to see what’s already there.

What if joy wasn’t something far away… but something you’ve been passing by every day?

Micro joys are small, everyday moments that are already around you…easy to miss, but always there.

They don’t fix everything or take away the hard parts of life, but they can soften things, even just a little.
Sometimes, it’s as simple as noticing what feels good for a second longer.

Over the next few days, we’ll gently show you how to notice them.

Your mind runs on chemistry and understanding it can change everything ✨

Lets get acquainted with the hormones that bring you joy and shape your mental well-being:
💡 Dopamine — the reward chemical
Drives motivation, focus, and that satisfying “I did it!” feeling
🌿 Serotonin — the stabilizer
Supports mood, calmness, and emotional balance
🤝 Oxytocin — the connector
Deepens trust, bonding, and feelings of safety
🏃‍♀️ Endorphins — the natural painkillers
Boost pleasure, reduce stress, and elevate your mood

When these are in balance, we feel aligned, connected, and resilient. When they’re off, we may feel low, anxious, or disconnected.

The good news?
Small, intentional habits, movement, sunlight, rest, connection, purpose can naturally support your DOSE levels 🌞

Your mental health isn’t just in your mind, it’s in your daily rhythms.

Social expectations often pressure young women to be obedient daughters who do not question authority, conform to family expectations, and make life choices- such as education or marriage- based on societal approval rather than personal aspirations. This can lead to fear of speaking up, low self-confidence, and anxiety about the future.
At the same time, sexual and reproductive health discussions are often suppressed, creating shame, fear, and reluctance to seek information or care.

Recognizing these norms is an important step toward empowering young women to make informed choices about their lives and health. 🌷

Society often places mothers under the pressure of being the “perfect mother” — balancing work, childcare, household responsibilities, and emotional support for the family. This invisible “second shift”, along with expectations of self-sacrifice and constant caregiving, can lead to burnout, anxiety, and maternal guilt.
At the same time, motherhood is often romanticized as effortless and joyful, overlooking the exhaustion, lack of self-care, and emotional demands many mothers face.

Recognizing these expectations is an important step toward challenging the norms that place unfair burdens on women. This Women’s Day, we celebrate women’s strength, resilience, and their right to define motherhood on their own terms. 🌷

Women in the workplace often face unequal treatment and career opportunities earning lower wages, biased career opportunities, pressure to stay silent about harassment, and the burden of balancing professional and family responsibilities. Many women continue to stay silent and are afraid to speak up even in the face of unfair treatment.

Bringing awareness and changing the narrative around these challenges is an important step toward building safer, fairer, and more inclusive workplaces.

Swipe to the final slide to learn how we, as a community, can support and empower working women. 🧡
