Sri Lanka’s new education reforms are collapsing under their own weight packed with unnecessary wokeness, zero practicality, and a complete disconnect from our real educational needs. Children, teachers, and parents are now paying the price for an experiment gone wrong.

The Opposition must act decisively. Even if the numbers aren’t in their favour, a No-Confidence Motion against the current Education Minister is essential at least as a symbolic stand against these failures. Parliament must record this moment. Silence now would mean endorsing a system that is dragging our education standards backward.

This is the moment to show leadership, not hesitation.
Let the country see who stands for the children and who hides behind political convenience.

අපරාධ නඩු විධාන සංග්‍රහයේ 02 වන වගන්තිය යටතේ මේ පිළිබඳව පැහැදිලි කර තිබේ. තවද විවිධ පනත් යටතේද යම් වරදක් කර චෝදනා ලැබූ තැනැත්තෙකු ඇප පිට නිදහස් කිරීම පිළිබඳව එම පනත් යටතේම දක්වා ඇත.

1997 අංක 30 දරන ඇප පනත මඟින් ඇප ලබා දීම සම්බන්ධව කටයුතු කරනු ලබන අතර එම පනත ගෙන ඒමට පෙර ක්‍රියාත්මක වූයේ අපරාධ නඩු විධාන සංග්‍රහ පනතේ විධිවිධානයන්ය.

ඒ අනුව ඇපදීම රීතියකි, ඇප ලබා නොදීම ව්‍යතිරේඛයකි. ඒ සම්බන්ධව ඇප පනතේ 2 වැනි වගන්තියෙහි විස්තර කර ඇත.

Those who advocate for providing proper education to all, irrespective of whether they voted for the victorious candidate, are, often unknowingly, swiftly approaching the initial stage of servitude. A society must be represented by various political factions that reflect all levels of intellectual, social, and economic strata. This is the essence of democracy. There are no nations in the world that withhold voting rights from their citizens by merely providing them education alone.

The alteration of perspective in tandem with power is indeed a traditional phenomenon.
