Sri Lanka Foundation, was founded in 1974,
with the support of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung of Bonn, as a centre of labour education and training. SLF is a premier non- formal adult education centre in asia with a specific focus on democratization through training and dissemination of knowledge. Its areas of training and education include labour relations, gender equity, community development, grass roots leadership, good governance, disaster management, environment and health. Capacity building of civil society institutions and leadership training for community organizations are also major themes of SLF programs. These programmes are carried out in collaboration with governmental and non governmental institutions, private
sector establishments, universities, trade unions, community and international organization via seminars, workshops,
discussions, publications, the print and electronic media.

රාජ්‍ය සේවා පුහුණු - ආයතන සංග්‍රහය හා ගිණුම්කරණ ප්‍රමිත පිළිබඳ දෙදින වැඩමුළුව

2025 නොවැම්බර් මස 20 සහ 21 දෙදින ශ්‍රී ලංකා පදනම් ආයතනයේදී පැවැත්විණ.

රාජ්‍ය නිළධාරියෙකුට ඇති අයිතීන් හා කළ යුතු රාජකාරීන් මෙන් ම සේවකයෙකුට හිමිවන වරප්‍රසාද ආදිය නිවැරදිව දැන ගැනීමෙන් නිළධාරීන්ගෙන් වන අතපසු වීම් හා අවභාවිතයන් මග හරවා ගැනීම සඳහා ආයතන සංග්‍රහයට අනුකූලව කටයුතු කිරීමට අවශ්‍ය දැනුම හා මූල්‍ය වාර්තාවල විනිවිදභාවය හා නිවැරදිභාවය වර්ධනය කිරීම සඳහා ගිණුම්කරණ ප්‍රමිත පිළිබඳ දැනුම හා පුහුණුව ලබා දීම සඳහා ජාතික ආධුනිකත්ව හා කාර්මික පුහුණු කිරීමේ ආයතනයේ නිළධාරින් (NAITA) සඳහා මෙම වැඩමුළුව පවත්වන ලදි.

මෙම වැඩමුළුව සඳහා එම ආයතනයේ නිළධාරින් 90 ක් සහභාගී වූ අතර, සමාරම්භක අවස්ථාවට අධ්‍යක්ෂ ජනරාල් ආචාර්ය ඩබ්.එම්.එස්.විජේසිංහ මහතා, අධ්‍යක්ෂ (පරිපාලන හා මානව සම්පත්) සුමේධ ජයසිංහ මහතා, සහකාර අධ්‍යක්ෂිකා ( මානව සම්පත් සංවර්ධන) නිලංජි ප්‍රියශානී මහත්මිය, පදනම් ආයතනයේ අධ්‍යක්ෂ (අධ්‍යයන) ආචාර්ය සමන් වීරවංශ මහතා සහභාගී විය. මෙම වැඩමුළුව සමාජ හා ආයතනික සංවර්ධන අංශය විසින් සංවිධානය කළ අතර එහි ජ්‍යේෂ්ඨ කථිකාචාර්ය සරෝජිනී වික්‍රමසිංහ මහත්මිය විසින් සම්බන්ධීකරණය කරන ලදි.

රාජ්‍ය සේවයට අත්‍යවශ්‍ය වැඩමුළු සඳහා ශ්‍රී ලංකා පදනම් ආයතනය වැඩසටහන් ගණනාවක් පෙළ ගස්වා ඇත.

The Sri Lanka Foundation Institute successfully held another workshop under its ongoing series on Field-Site First Aid on October 23, 2025, at the Sri Lanka Foundation institute. The Heleon Group, under the brand name Iodex, powers the workshop, which focuses on managing acute sports injuries. As part of its CSR initiative, the Sri Lanka Foundation organised this programme to empower sports masseurs and fitness trainers across different regions.

The programme coordinator, Head of the Human Capital Development Unit of SLFI, and Senior Lecturer, Mr Bharatha Herath, along with the Heleon Group Brand Manager, Mr Tharindu Wattuhewa, attended the inauguration. The Olympic sports physician Dr Himan De Silva serves as the main resource person of the workshop.
