This new year, help a child at Waterka Open Prison Camp to celebrate it with a smile on face and happiness in heart! The United Youth Consortium is providing new clothe sets for 40 male children of the Camp to wear at their New Year Celebrations. A set consists of a stitched shirt and a sarong. This kind invitation is to all of you to contribute in any monetary donation for this worthy cause. They too deserve the perfect New Year.

For this endeavour an amount of 52,000/= costs in total and it is 1625/= per a child.

උදාවන අලුත් අවුරුද්ද සැබැවින්ම අර්ථාන්විතව සමරන්න, පුoචි මුවකට සිනහව අරන් යන්න අපි සූදානම්. යුනිකොම් සoවිධානය විසින් වටරැක එලිමහන් සිරකඳවුරේ දැනට රඳවා සිටින පිරිමි දරුවන් හතලිස්දෙනෙකුට අලුත් අවුරුදු උළෙල සඳහා අවශ්‍ය රෙදිපිළි ලබාදෙන්න කටයුතු සූදානම් කරමින් සිටිනවා. එක් දරුවෙකු සඳහා මසා නිම කරන ලද කමිසයක් සහ සරමක් බැගින් ලබාදෙනවා.

මෙම කාර්යය සඳහා එක් දරුවෙකුට රුපියල් 1625ක මුදලක් වැයවන අතර සම්පූර්ණ මුදල රුපියල් 52 000ක් පමණ වේ. කාරුණික හදවත් ඇති ඔබත් මේ අලුත් අවුරුද්දේ ඔබේ සතුට ඔවුන් සමග බෙදා ගන්නට කැමැත්තෙන් සිටී නම් අප හා සම්බන්ධ වන්න.

We, at UNYCom successfully conducted the Annual, Leadership and Capacity Enhancing three day residential training camp for the senior Prefects guild of Mattegoda Vidyadeepa Vidyalaya, for the 3rd consecutive year. Over the past 3 years these students have profoundly improved in their academics and extra curricular work and accordingly have contributed to uplift the standards of the school. It is our humble pleasure to guide them throughout, for them to reach their targets in life.

මේ දිනවල දිවයිනට බලපා ඇති අධික වැසි සහිත කාළගුණික තත්ත්වය හේතුවෙන් දැනටමත් ප්‍රදේශ රැසක බරපතල ගංවතුර තත්ත්වයක් හටගෙන ඇත. මේ අනුව කැළණිය , කැළණිමුල්ල, පෙතියාගොඩ, බියගම, කඩුවෙල, මාදම්පේ, කුලියාපිටිය, හලාවත සහ බුලත්සිංහල වැනි ප්‍රදේශ රැසක් ජලයෙන් යටවීම නිසා එම ප්‍රදේශ වල විශාල පිරිසක් විපතට පත්ව අවතැන් වී සිටී.

ගෙවුණු වසර දෙක තුලදී මෙන්ම මේ වසරේදීත් ගංවතුරින් විපතට පත් ජනතාව වෙනුවෙන් කඩිනමින් සහන සැලසීමට UNYCom සංවිධා⁣නයේ අපි මේ වන විටත් වැඩ කටයුතු ආරම්භ කර අවසන්. ඒ අනුව පසුගිය වසර වලදී මෙන් මෙවරත් විපතට පත් ජනතාව වෙනුවෙන් අත්‍යවශ්‍ය දව්‍ය එක්රස් කර බෙදාදීමට අප සමග එක්වන ලෙස කාරුණික හදවත් ඇති ඔබ සැමට අප සිදුකරන දැනුම්දීමයි මේ.

Due to the heavy rain over the past few days there is an island wide crisis with Floods. Many people are affected by these natural disasters in the areas of Kalaniya, Kalanimulla, Pethiyagoda, Biyagama, Kaduwela, Madampe, Kuliyapitiya, Chilaw & Bulathsinhala.

Again the time to open your big heart for our own people. We at UNYCom have decided to launch a humanitarian mission to help those people who are in those camps. Team UNYCom wishing Happy Independence day for a free, united and a peaceful Sri Lanka!

On 11th December 2017 Team UNYCom announced the project 'Help Them School with a Smile' to aid 30 students from grade 2-5 of WP/Minu Palliyapitiya Ranasinghe Primary School, Dunagaha to celebrate the 2 year anniversary of the United Youth Consortium. We received a huge support from various contributors and we were able to complete the donation list in no time. Today, on 31st of December we visited the school with the kind donations filled in our hands and great love filled in our hearts and we witnessed the actualisation of our project name.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude and a big thank you to Mrs. Chandani Dayaratne for coordinating us with the school, Kamal Sir and the Principal of Palliyapitiya Ranasinghe Primary School , all the kind donors as without them the project would not be able to succeed and our all-time-active Team UNYCom.

Do not further proceed with monetary or any donation and UNYCOM will not be liable for any donation collected hereinafter. We will be heading to WP/Minu Palliyapitiya Ranasinghe Primary School tomorrow and we cannot wait to handover the book and stationery items and to make the students school with a smile.

Personality & Leadership Development Camp of Brightway English Academy was conducted by the Team UNYCom on 15th of October 2017 at Makola Youth Center. We extend our heartiest thanks to the Academy for giving us this opportunity, to the lovely bunch of children who actively participated, to our energetic Team for a job well done & everyone who helped us in making this endeavour a success.
