Lanka Health Care Hospital & Academy is a major institute of Optometry in Sri Lanka which is registered under the Tertiary & Vocational Education Commission (TVEC). It was formed in January 2012 by Optometrist Tharindu Fernando who has been conducting Optometry study programs since 2007. At Lanka Health Care Hospital & Academy all the study programs are designed and taught in a fine manner which can be remembered and understood well even if the students are new to the field. At Lanka Health Care Hospital & Academy we strongly believe that “Knowledge & Courage is the key to a successful practice.”

we are so grateful to all who sponsored towards this noble project. We have received sponsorships for 143 pairs of spectacles and donated 23 pairs up to date. We carefully select the most needed to donate the spectacles. If you know of anyone who needs spectacles and is finding difficult to afford them due to the current financial situation of him/her please refer to one off our "Aloka" service centers below.
