We are honoured to have donated a range of our products to the Faculty of Dental Sciences, University of Peradeniya. The handover was made to the Acting Dean, Prof. Arambawatte, and the Head of the Department of Restorative Dentistry, Prof. Manil Fonseka.

As part of this initiative, Cosmetic Dentistry Pvt Limited organised a special lecture, live demonstrations, and hands-on training in digital dentistry for the final-year dental students 80 and dental technicians 45. This marks the first step towards supporting the faculty in digitalising its clinical workflow and empowering the next generation of dental professionals with modern technology and skills.

This CSR effort is especially meaningful for us, as our founder Dr. Ruvan is a proud alumnus of Peradeniya and was part of the very first batch to enter the new faculty in 1998. Giving back to the institution that shaped his journey is a privilege, and we look forward to continuing our support towards advancing dental education and technology in Sri Lanka.

Cosmetic Dentistry (Pvt) Limited proudly organised an intimate hands-on workshop for our doctors who recently joined us in South Korea — focusing on:

The session was held at the Organisation of Professional Associations (OPA) with the guidance of our foreign expert, offering valuable practical training and knowledge sharing.

We are proud to announce the successful completion of our first overseas professional visit to South Korea with a team of 10 participants!

From 7th–9th November, our team attended the prestigious Warantec Advanced Dental Symposium at the Marriott Shinhwa World Resort, where they learned the latest advances in implantology and osseointegration — along with enjoying the breathtaking beauty and sightseeing of Jeju Island. 🌊🌴

Our journey continued to Seoul, where we visited the Seoul National University Dental Hospital for an Advanced Certification Course covering:

Job Description: Trainee Dental Laboratory Technician (with Arts & Sculpting Background)

Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

Position Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual to join our dental laboratory team as a Trainee Dental Lab Technician. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in art, design, or sculpting, who are eager to learn the technical and aesthetic aspects of modern dental restoration work.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the fabrication of dental prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, veneers, and dentures.

Learn and apply waxing, carving, and shaping techniques for tooth anatomy.

Support senior technicians in ceramic layering, polishing, and finishing work.

Participate in digital dentistry processes including CAD/CAM design and 3D printing.

Maintain tools, materials, and laboratory cleanliness.

Observe and follow strict quality control and infection control protocols.

Requirements:

G.C.E. Advanced Level (Science or Arts stream preferred).

Background or experience in fine arts, sculpture, or model-making.

Excellent hand–eye coordination and attention to detail.

Willingness to learn dental materials, anatomy, and laboratory procedures.

Ability to work neatly, accurately, and as part of a team.

Basic computer literacy (CAD/CAM experience is an advantage).

We are a new dental laboratory specializing in high-quality aesthetic and implant restorations. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Dental Ceramist to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabricate and finish porcelain, zirconia, and Emax restorations (crowns, bridges, veneers, and implants).

Perform ceramic layering, staining, and glazing to achieve lifelike aesthetics.

Collaborate closely with dentists and technicians to ensure precision, fit, and function.
