Lanka Hospitals extends its heartfelt congratulations to Safiya Yamik, Chamod Yodhasinghe and our incredible athletics team for their historic performances at the 4th South Asian Senior Athletics Championship 2025 in Ranchi, India!

Safiya Yamic – South Asia’s fastest woman – blazed through the track with three Gold medals, breaking records in the 200m (23.58s) and 4x100m Relay (44.70s), and winning the 100m (11.53s).

Chamod Yodhsingha sprinted into South Asian history, clocking an impressive 10.30s in the Men’s 100m.

More Golds followed from Kalinga Kumarage in the 400m and the Men’s & Women’s 4x100m relays, marking a truly golden moment for Sri Lankan athletics.
