On World Obesity Day, we turned awareness into action — a month-long programme focused on weight management and safer treatment options.

Led by Chaaminda Kumarasiri, with the participation of senior leadership and Prof. Thejana Wijeratne, the Lanka Hospitals Bariatric Centre opened an exclusive stall at the Lanka Hospitals Atrium from 4 March to 4 April.

Visitors received free health tests, expert weight-management consultations and clear, medically supervised care pathways — including bariatric surgery where appropriate.
