This woman had difficulty lying down, so she tried to receive treatment while sitting up because of it. When visiting the hospital before, they couldn't pinpoint the exact reason, likely because they didn't find any significant structural abnormalities. In fact, since there were no specific structural issues, she was able to experience significant improvement after just one treatment.

We didn't capture the video during the first visit, so when she came for the second time, although the situation had already improved, we requested her to recreate the condition before the treatment. Just lying down to that extent before the treatment made her feel extremely dizzy and break into a cold sweat.

In the interview, towards the end, this woman mentioned that one or two treatments could lead to improvement, so it would be a good idea to come and get treatment, but it's a special case, and the recovery time can vary from person to person, especially when there are significant structural problems. This woman had received two treatments, and the interview took place on the second treatment day.

This woman received treatment at the Korean Clinic from July 2023, and on her 7th treatment session, she was filmed. Acupuncture treatment leads to overall improvement in the body. Therefore, it is not associated with side effects. In addition to symptoms That she wanted to receive treatment for, sleep has also improved.

The Korean Clinic primarily focuses on acupuncture treatment from Korea. Global doctors dispatched by KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) and doctors from Ayurvedic hospitals are providing acupuncture and physiotherapy services. Since many patients in Sri Lanka are not yet familiar with Korean acupuncture treatment, we created a video to raise awareness. Acupuncture, which involves placing needles on the body's surface, can help with musculoskeletal issues as well as internal organs, the nervous system, and hormones, allowing us to treat internal medical conditions as well.
If Korean herbal medicine is used in conjunction with acupuncture treatment, it can maximize the therapeutic effects. However, due to customs clearance and other issues, it is challenging to use Korean herbal medicine here. Therefore, we are considering integrating Ayurvedic herbs in the future.
Unlike the side effects often associated with Western medicine, acupuncture and herbal medicine provide comprehensive and fundamental healing for the body. As a result, overall health improvement can lead to the simultaneous alleviation of symptoms that were not specifically addressed. Korean Medicine (KM) and Ayurveda have a deep-rooted history and offer excellent approaches to promoting fundamental bodily recovery. While they may not be able to improve all symptoms, especially in cases requiring surgery or during emergencies, acupuncture treatment can be the best option when there hasn't been significant change in one's constitution and the body's self-healing capabilities are still intact.
One patient with Parkinson's disease, for example, had no improvement with other treatments, but has seen improvements in their symptoms through acupuncture therapy.

The renovation of the Korean clinic is proceeding smoothly. The painting has been completed, and although there is still a slight odor, it should not cause significant inconvenience.

Our morning hours are from 9 AM to 12:30 PM (with the last appointment at 12 PM), and we also operate in the afternoon from 2 PM to 3PM (with the last appointment at 3 PM).
For afternoon appointments, there may be days when we are closed, so it is advisable to make a reservation in advance if you are coming from a distance.
