OAMG is one of the premier gatherings of medical professionals around an alma mater with an ambition to uplift the quality of health and surveillance of the students, teachers, and other staff members of Ananda College. With the vision of ‘Safe and Healthy Ananda’, the OAMG organizes numerous activities including Dengue prevention campaigns, health camps and education programs for teachers and college students, and provision of medical care at all sporting events. As its main project, the OAMG has established a state-of-the-art Medical Center at the college, which provides services to school children and the staff. Statistics show more than a thousand student visits per month and an approximate operational cost of about Rs. 100,000 per month. The funds needed for the aforementioned activities are raised through fundraising events, membership dues, and generous donations from well-wishers.
